Regarding displacement, one of the hot issues in this conflict is that more than 500,000 people are internally displaced by the fair of a war. The displaced people were in the school compound and in the host community. This rapid need assessment were used observation, formal and informal discussion with key stakeholders from local and international non-governmental, governmental personnel’s and local communities and Moreover, secondary data were collected from BoLSA (Bureau of Labor and Social Affairs), local authorities and humanitarian organization used to revise and triangulate.
To inform rapid humanitarian response, Good Neighbors Ethiopia Rapid Needs Assessment (GNERNA) was undertaken in Mekelle from Feb 25-27/2021. The purpose of the GNERNA was to better understand the humanitarian and rehabilitation needs and gaps.
