Methodology
The methodology used for the assessment was the adapted MIRA tools. The selected assessment team comprised staff with a breadth of experience and knowledge of the situation and the region as well. And they represented at least seven sectors. Sites were selected due to the secondary information available to the team on the number of the population.
Subject/Objective
The focus of the rapid assessment was to assess the impact following the event of 24 July in Garbocise and its surroundings. The objective is to provide a common understanding of the emergency situation including estimating the scale and severity of the impact, identification inter-sector priority needs and geographical areas affected by the situation.
