Key findings
The USGS/USAID/FEWS NET Figure 3 show that rainfall performance as of November was well below normal. The rainfall in Borena was 51 percent of average, the driest season on record since 1981. In Dawa, the rainfall was 39 percent of average, the second driest season on record.
