Methodology
In the aftermath of Cyclone Kenneth and subsequent reports of flooding, the team concluded the damage observed by the aerial assessment was limited. Much of the damage was to agricultural crops mostly in the districts of Macomia and Madumbe. The impact is mostly on the population living in risk areas along the Magaruma River. This will have an impact on livelihoods especially where the crop damage is extensive.
